steigert Backup- & Recovery-Leistung
De-Duplizierungsoption für EMC Disk Library for
Mainframe (DLm)
WIEN – 20. Juli 2010 – EMC stellt mit EMC Data Domain DD670 ein neues Speichersystem mit
De-Duplizierung im Midrange-Segment vor. DD670 hat eine Durchsatzrate von 5,4
Terabyte Inline De-Duplizierung pro Stunde und unterstützt eine bis zu 50-fache
Datenreduktion. In Kombination mit EMC Data Domain Boost Software ist das
System mehr als doppelt so schnell wie Lösungen anderer Hersteller im mittleren
Preissegment und bis um das Eineinhalbfache schneller, wenn es als Virtual Tape
Library angewendet wird.
EMC bringt darüber hinaus
seine neue EMC Disk Library 5000-Serie
auf den Markt und bietet zudem erweiterte De-Duplizierungsoptionen für
Disk Library for Mainframe. EMC Data
Domain DD670 und die Deduplizierungsoption für DLm960 ist ab dem dritten
Quartal 2010 verfügbar.
