EMC wird Archer Technologies übernehmen

Software-Anbieter für Governance-, Risk- und Compliance-Lösungen soll in Security-Sparte RSA integriert werden

WIEN – 11. Jänner 2010 – EMC hat mit der in Kansas (USA) ansässigen Archer Technologies LLC ein definitives Abkommen über deren Übernahme geschlossen. Archer ist spezialisiert auf die Entwicklung von Governance-, Risk- und Compliance-Software (GRC) und soll Teil von RSA, The Security Division of EMC, werden. Durch die Akquisition baut EMC sein Portfolio an Sicherheits- und Risiko-Management-Lösungen maßgeblich aus. In der Kombination mit den RSA-Technologien können Kunden für physikalische und virtuelle IT-Infrastrukturen automatisiert GRC-Prozesse visualisieren und die Einhaltung von Sicherheitsrichtlinien sicherstellen. Die Übernahme soll noch im 1. Quartal 2010 abgeschlossen werden.
